Beaumont Aggie Moms prepare Tender Loving Care (TLC) goody bags to be delivered to Aggie students from our area, which includes Beaumont, Buna, China, Fannett, Hamshire, Kountze, Lumberton, Nome, Silsbee, Sour Lake, Vidor and Winnie.  The bags are delivered to provide encouragement and sustenance as they begin finals each fall and spring semester.

Suggested donations for the bags are:  K-Cups, gatorade, water, peanut butter crackers, small containers of pringles, protein bars, granola bars, Rice Crispie treats, pudding cups, pens, highlighters, post-it notes, white out, hair bands, gum, sunflower seeds, hot fries, hot cheet-ohs, cheese-its, or pretty much anything that is individually wrapped and travels well.  Homemade goodies can be made as a special treat and offer a “Taste of Home” to our students.

We usually prepare around 80 bags, so pair up or grab a few friends to go-in together to donate 80 of your favorite item.  We will have sign-up sheets at our meetings for donated items.

Volunteers for the Goody Bag Committee are welcome to help fill the bags and deliver them to campus. If you ever ever participated in TLC Goody Bag delivery, you know what a treat it is to see the students’ smile with a hug from an Aggie Mom!
